There are a number of ways of attaching charms to your charm bracelet. If you've decided not to have your charms soldered professionally onto the bracelet by a jeweller, here are some alternatives, all of which are available for sale on this website.

Lobster Clasps
Our sterling silver lobster claw clasps enable the wearer to move the charms around their charm bracelet easily and securely. If you would like us to attach your purchased clasp/s to charm/s free of charge (not soldered), please request in notes at checkout. These lobster clasps are 11mm (height) x 6mm (width).

Charm Links We offer here a solution to combining modern European style bead/spacer charms and traditional charms. Just attach your chosen charm to the ring on this spacer bead and slide onto your bracelet. Exclusive to Amanda Jo Jewellery, this charm link will fit most well known Pandora style bracelets (please measure your bracelet if unsure). If you would like us to attach your purchased charm link/s to charm/s free of charge (not soldered), please request in notes at checkout. These charm links are 4mm (width) with a hole diameter of 5mm.

Link Locks Sterling silver linklock locking jump ring for attaching charms. These Charm Link Locks allow you to add charms to your bracelet without soldering. Instructions: First place your bracelet link and charm in the Link Lock just as you would using a jump ring. Then press the two ends of the link lock together with a pair of pliers to a closed position in the barrel. Using a pair of pliers push the flap down to permanently lock the link lock. These charm link locks are 5.5mm (height) x 4mm (width).

Split Jump Rings Just like mini key rings, these split rings enable the charm bracelet wearer to attach their charms themselves. They replace the regular jump rings which are provided with charms. Instructions: Ideally split ring tweezers should be used to create an opening at the end of the ring, alternatively pressing the ring of the charm against the end of the ring can also work to pop it open (my preferred method). Hook the opening of the split ring onto the charm bracelet and then into the loop of the charm, then slide the ring round until it reaches the other end and closes naturally. Any gaps which have appeared on the split ring due to having been stretched, can be pinched shut again. These split jump rings are 5mm (diameter).
